Student of the OSUIA is World cup champion in the "Full Contact Kumite" section Makotokai karate

Robert MOVSISYAN, a first-year student of the Institute of Law and Security of the OSUIA, as part of the Makotokai Karate team of Ukraine (a representative of the Odesa region) successfully performed in the 5th Makotokai Karate World Cup in 2024 (5th WKMO World Open Cup).

Competitions were held in the city of Lignano Sabbiadoro (Italy).

According to the results of the competition, Robert achieved significant success:

- in the "Full Contact Kumite" section, he won first place and won the champion title;

- in the "Modern Kata" section, the student entered the top ten best athletes in the world, becoming the winner of the 5th WKMO World Open Cup in this discipline.
