OSUIA held specialized training sessions on basic safety principles, self-defense, and first aid for employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs’ regional service center in the Odesa, Mykolaiv, and Kherson regions.

During the training, participants learned about procedures for responding to crisis situations, personal safety guidelines, and appropriate behavior during emergencies, and they practiced providing first aid to victims until medical personnel arrive.

Particular attention was paid to stopping life-threatening bleeding, assessing the victim’s condition, using modern life-saving equipment, and responding to high-risk situations.

The training was conducted by Halyna Udrenas, an instructor in the Department of Tactical and Special Physical Training at Odesa State University of Internal Affairs, an expert with many years of experience in training law enforcement officers and extensive practical training in the field of first aid and tactical medicine.
