Psychologists of OSUIA visited one of the rehabilitation centers of the State Border Service of Ukraine

Today, November 19, assistant rector for work with veterans Serhii Kozachenko and representatives of the psychological support department of OSUIA Viktoriia Dubiniak, Olha Melnykova and Ruslan Balandin visited one of the rehabilitation centers of the State Border Service of Ukraine to exchange experience in the rehabilitation of sick patients with stress syndrome and PTSD.

During the meeting and getting acquainted with the activities of the center, the head of the occupational therapy department, doctor of physical and rehabilitation medicine Oleksandr Bilyi shared his experience of using an effective tool of psychophysical rehabilitation – respiratory gymnastics.

Representatives of the psychological support department of the university, in turn, introduced the representatives and visitors of the center to the direction of their activity, namely: psychological support of the educational process of cadets and official activities of employees.

Assistant rector Serhii Kozachenko spoke about the possibility of employment of veterans in OSUIA.

Socialization, physical and psychological rehabilitation of veterans is currently an important area of the university's activity, because taking care of the restoration of the military, we take care of the future of the country.
