Representatives of OSUIA attended the opening of the new Department of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine
A new department of physical and rehabilitative medicine has opened at the nonprofit organization ukrainian medical center for rehabilitation of mother and child of the ministry of health of ukraine. Here, veterans, their families, and anyone in need of recovery will be able to receive comprehensive rehabilitative, psychological, and medical care.
The first participants in the rehabilitation program were the «Dnipro-Chest» amputee soccer team – veterans of the russian-Ukrainian war.
Nataliia Odarii-Zakharieva, the Center’s Executive Director, presented the new department, discussed the future development of rehabilitation services, and outlined plans to expand support for veterans and their families.
The branch also hosted a meeting with veterans, during which they discussed the needs of the defenders, as well as the restoration and development of high-quality rehabilitation facilities in the Odesa region.
Representatives from Odesa State University of Internal Affairs attended the opening of the rehabilitation ward, including the university’s vice rector, Vadym Pidhorodynskyi, and the rector’s assistants, Serhii Kozachenko and Oleksii Ishchuk.
