Representatives of Odesa State University of Internal Affairs Join the Presentation of the Exhibition “The Will to Self-Determination”
On the eve of the Day of Ukrainian Statehood, within the framework of the cooperation between Odesa State University of Internal Affairs and the Odesa National Scientific Library, veterans of the Russian-Ukrainian War, Oleksandr Diuzhykov and Oleh Avtomieienko, together with specialists of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Work, Viktoriia Perevezniuk and Karina Tovpyha, participated in the presentation of the book exhibition-installation “The Will to Self-Determination.”
The participants of the event were welcomed by veteran of the Russian-Ukrainian War Oleh Avtomieienko, who emphasized the special significance of the Day of Ukrainian Statehood amid the full-scale war and the Ukrainian people's ongoing struggle for freedom and independence.
An important part of the event was the presentation delivered by Professor Oleksandr Shyshko, Doctor of Historical Sciences, who analyzed the processes of Ukrainian state-building in the early twentieth century and at the current stage of the country's development.
A particularly moving atmosphere was created by veteran of the Russian-Ukrainian War Oleksandr Diuzhykov, who presented his own poem entitled “The Will.”
