EUAM representatives visit Odesa State University of Internal Affairs

On December 6, OSUIA became a platform for an important dialogue with representatives of the European Union Advisory Mission (EUAM). The delegation was headed by Eduardo Manfredini (Italy), Head of the European Sector, Civilian Mission Planning and Management Division of the European External Action Service.

 

The delegation also included:


- Ken Wachtler (Belgium), EUAM Policy Officer;


- Anders Johansen (Denmark), Head of the EUAM Regional Presence in Odesa;


- Jean-Marc Krebs (France), Head of the Liberated and Adjacent Territories Section of the EUAM Regional Presence in Ukraine;


- Jan Danco (Slovakia), Advisor/Trainer on Community Policing.

 

 

During the meeting with the Vice-Rector of the University, Maksym Kornienko, the parties discussed the key challenges faced by the educational institution in the context of war, including the adaptation of educational programs to modern realities, as well as the implementation of best European practices in the field of law enforcement.

 

 

EUAM representatives expressed their support for Ukraine and emphasized the importance of such meetings for establishing international cooperation and strengthening the system of training law enforcement professionals.
