Representatives of the OSUIA took part in an international youth exchange with the Lithuanian Police Academy

As part of the grant project “Youth Resilience and Democratic Leadership of Future Law Enforcement Officers” organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine, representatives from Odesa State University of Internal Affairs participated in an international youth exchange with the Lithuanian Police Academy.
From September 7️ to 11, in the village of Mastaičiai, Kaunas County, Republic of Lithuania, Police Captain Olena Kravchuk and 10 female students from the OSUIA participated in an academic mobility program.
An important component of the program was the professional development of future law enforcement officers and the exchange of practical experience. The participants visited the Kaunas County Police Headquarters and the Criminal Intelligence Training Center of the Lithuanian Criminal Police Bureau, where they learned about the specific aspects of the work of Lithuanian police units and the training of criminal police specialists.

At the Lithuanian Police Academy, the participants took part in practical training sessions on professional tactics, teamwork, crisis communication, leadership, safe and extreme driving of police vehicles, as well as public safety.

During the closing roundtable, the prospects for further cooperation between the OSUIA and the Lithuanian Police Academy, as well as for the development of joint youth initiatives, were discussed.
