A forum entitled «After the Front - Back to Life: Psychosocial Support and Rehabilitation for Veterans» was held in Odesa, dedicated to providing comprehensive support to our defenders.

The event was held with the support of the Odesa Regional State Administration as part of the All-Ukrainian Mental Health Program «How Are You?» - an initiative of Olena Zelenska. The forum was organized in partnership with the International Organization for Migration and with the support of the Odesa Regional Adaptive Sports Federation, the Public Organization «For Odesa!» and the Charitable Foundation «Unlimited Possibilities».

At the center of the professional dialogue are veterans returning from the front lines to their families, communities, and peaceful lives. Their experiences, strength, vulnerability, and need for support formed the basis for meaningful discussions.

The veterans were not only participants, but also active speakers on the panels -they shared their own stories of recovery, struggle, searching for new meaning, and returning to an active role in society.

During the forum, issues of psychosocial assistance, physical and psycho-emotional rehabilitation, implementation of the «Peer-to-Peer» program, development of adaptive sports, and expansion of veteran spaces in communities were discussed.

Serhii Kozachenko, assistant to the Rector of Odesa State University of Internal Affairs and veteran of the russian-Ukrainian war, joined the event.
