On April 2-6, the Ukrainian Muay Thai Boxing Championship among adults was held in Kyiv. In parallel with the main tournament, all-Ukrainian competitions among juniors and young men were held. The venue was the sports grounds of the National University of Physical Education and Sports of Ukraine.

About 300 athletes took part in the competition.

Nikita Kuts, a 1st-year cadet of the Faculty of Training Specialists for Pre-trial Investigation Bodies of the National Police of Ukraine of Odesa State University of Internal Affairs, fought two brilliant fights in the 54 kg weight category, winning both and confidently taking first place.

This victory gives Nikita the right to represent Ukraine at the Muay Thai World Championships to be held in Cappadocia (Turkey). This is a remarkable achievement not only for the athlete himself, but also for the entire OSUIA community.

We congratulate him on his victory and wish him to represent Ukraine with dignity in the international arena!
