Representatives of the European Union Advisory Mission visited OSUIA
Representatives of the European Union Advisory Mission paid an official visit to Odesa State University of Internal Affairs. The delegation consisted of Lyn Sheehan, Head of Operations at EUAM (Irish citizen); Anders Johansen, Head of EUAM Regional Representation in Odesa (Danish citizen) and Jean-Marc Krebs, Head of EUAM De-occupied Territories Unit (French citizen).
The parties discussed the current state of the educational process in the context of the war, key challenges and issues related to the security of educational activities. The EUAM representatives also visited the training locations of the institution, which are used to train future law enforcement and security professionals.
The EUAM representatives noted the resilience and commitment of the university's management, students and academic staff to their duties in the face of insecurity and instability, and assured that the Mission stands ready to provide further support to improve the educational environment.
Anders Johansen emphasized: “We are impressed with the way the university continues to operate in such a difficult environment. Our task is to support you in overcoming these challenges.”
