One-Day Seminar with a Leading International Expert

Representatives of the Odesa State University of Internal Affairs took part in a one-day seminar featuring a leading international expert – Professor, Doctor of Medical Sciences, retired Colonel of the Medical Service of the Royal Netherlands Army, Eric Vermetten.

The event was held at the Veterans HUB ODESA and focused on current issues related to overcoming the consequences of psychological trauma and PTSD among veterans of the Russian-Ukrainian war.

Participants had the opportunity to exchange professional experience, discuss effective methodologies and modern approaches to psychological support and assistance, and address important aspects of preventing addictions and suicidal behavior among veterans.

Such events are an important step toward strengthening interagency cooperation and implementing modern international practices in the field of psychological support.
