Training «Basic provisions of anti-corruption legislation» took place on the basis of OSUIA
On the basis of the Odesa State University of Internal Affairs, a training session «Basic provisions of anti-corruption legislation» was held for territorial bodies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, institutions, institutions and enterprises belonging to the sphere of management of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Odesa, Mykolaiv and Kherson regions.
The event was held at the initiative of the Department of Corruption Prevention of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine and the NATO-Ukraine Integrity Education Program (BI) within the framework of the implementation of the Anti-Corruption Program of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine for 2023–2025.
The participants of the training were congratulated by the deputy head of the Corruption Prevention Department –, the head of the corruption risk management and methodical support department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Serhii Yaremenko, and the coordinator of the NATO-Ukraine Integrity Education Program (BI), Maryna Kohut.
The purpose of the event was to increase the level of knowledge of the main provisions of anti-corruption legislation, the requirements of ethical and virtuous behavior, and to provide practical recommendations on compliance with the requirements of anti-corruption legislation.
About 120 people took part in the event from among representatives of the Main Service Centers, scientific research expert forensic centers, state institutions of territorial medical associations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in Odesa, Mykolaiv and Kherson regions, and employees of OSUIA.
Svitlana Faichuk, authorized for anti-corruption activities, was the moderator of the event.
Associate professors of the Department of Administrative and Legal Disciplines of the Institute of Law and Security Oleksandr Zhyltsov and Viktoriia Sirko, associate professor of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology of the Faculty of Specialist Training for Pre-Trial Investigation Bodies of the National Police of Ukraine Viktor Yarosh and associate professor of the Department of Administrative Law and Process of the Faculty of Specialist Training for units of preventive activities of the National Police of Ukraine Hanna Sherstiuk. The deputy head of the monitoring and zonal control department of the Odesa Department of Internal Affairs, police lieutenant colonel Oksana Malanchuk, also joined the training, who familiarized the training participants with the practical aspects of prosecution for corruption and corruption-related offenses.
