Workshop Dedicated to the Promotion of Responsible Fatherhood

А family-oriented workshop for university staff (fathers and their children) was held at the Odesa State University of Internal Affairs. The event was dedicated to promoting responsible fatherhood, strengthening family bonds, and supporting a healthy balance between professional and family responsibilities.

The workshop was organized to create conditions that enable the combination of professional fulfillment with active male involvement in family life, to foster a culture of partnership within the family, and to overcome gender stereotypes regarding the role of fathers in child upbringing.

As part of the event, participants took part in a creative tote bag painting workshop, which provided a space for joint activities for fathers and children, informal communication, and emotional support.

The workshop was conducted with the participation of experts from the “TatoHub.Odesa” project, implemented by the NGO “Successful Woman” within the framework of the programme “EU for Gender Equality: Together Against Gender Stereotypes and Gender-Based Violence” (Phase II). The programme is funded by the European Union and implemented jointly with UN Women and UNFPA in Ukraine.
