UAO Lecture on Respectful Communication with Persons with Disabilities
А lecture entitled “Respectful Communication with Persons with Disabilities” was held at the Odesa State University of Internal Affairs. The event was organized by the Charitable Organization UAO Ukraine Assistance Organization.
The lecture aimed to foster a culture of tolerant, ethical, and barrier-free communication.
Participants explored modern communication standards, common interaction mistakes, appropriate terminology, and practical guidelines for offering assistance correctly in everyday and professional situations.
The lecture was delivered by representatives of the organization, Yelyzaveta Bezruk and Hanna Kashu. The Head of the organization is Michael Frederick Scolari. The event was also attended by veterans Serhii Kozachenko, Oleksii Ishchuk, and Ivan Miasnykov, whose personal experiences added depth and a strong practical dimension to the discussion.
