- First of all, on behalf of the Head of the National Police of Ukraine and on my own behalf, I want to congratulate you on today's holiday - the Day of Defenders of Ukraine. Unfortunately, only the times of war showed how much we should protect our army, how much we should honor everyone who devotes their lives to serving the Ukrainian people. Today we have a future addition to the ranks of the criminal police and I personally am very pleased about it. You see how determined and how determined these people are. Your service will not be easy, because protecting the Motherland, protecting people is actually a very honorable, but difficult mission. I congratulate all parents, congratulate the cadets who today, according to the Law of Ukraine «On the National Police», have become real policemen. I want to wish that your service is fair and honest, that you deserve frank respect from Ukrainians. I believe that this will be the case, because today police officers are an integral part of the security and defence forces. Congratulations! Glory to Ukraine!
The Rector of the university, police colonel Viacheslav Davydenko, said in his welcoming speech:
«You took the Oath in the moments when our state is fighting for its freedom and independence, and therefore each of you is a part of the strength – of the National Police of Ukraine, which daily proves its loyalty to the people, bringing our joint victory closer. I believe that you will walk your professional path with dignity, that each of you will honorably bear the high rank of a policeman. I wish that your hearts always remain loyal to Ukraine, and your actions are honest, decisive and fair. Glory to Ukraine!».
Congratulations to the young law enforcement officers on joining the ranks of the National Police of Ukraine! From now on, you have become part of a large police family that stands guard over the law, peace and security of our citizens.
