Cadets of the OSUIA heard the story of volunteer Hryhoriy Yanchenko
A meeting of cadets with a well-known Ukrainian volunteer, public figure, knight of the order «People's Hero of Ukraine», honorary citizen of Kherson Hryhorii Mykolaiovych Yanchenko took place at the Odesa State University of Internal Affairs.
The event became an important opportunity for the younger generation to hear the true stories of a person who devoted his life to supporting Ukrainian defenders, establishing patriotic values and helping Ukraine in the struggle for freedom and independence.
At the heart of the meeting is a frank conversation about courage, responsibility, fortitude and the price of peace. Hryhorii Mykolaiovych shared his own life experience, talked about his volunteer activities, support for military personnel, the challenges facing society in wartime, as well as the importance of mutual respect, humanity and unity.
Vice-rector of the university Vadym Pidhorodynskyi, senior lecturer of the department of criminal law disciplines, veteran of the Russian-Ukrainian war Serhii Sainchyn and leading specialist of the department of social and humanitarian work Inna Karabiievska also joined the event.
For the applicants, such a meeting became not just an educational event, but an opportunity to communicate directly with a person whose life path is an example of devotion to Ukraine and service to society.
