Conference of OSUIA labor collective
On January 29, a staff conference was held at OSUIA, during which the rector, Police Colonel Viacheslav Davydenko, presented a report on the university's activities for 2025.
The report emphasized the university's role as a stable center for training specialists for the law enforcement system and an active participant in supporting veterans and the volunteer movement.
Among the priority achievements:
- opening of specialized educational facilities;
- significant growth in scientometric indices and improvement of positions in national and global rankings;
- conclusion of cooperation agreements with foreign higher education institutions;
- significant amount of work carried out with war veterans;
- ensuring educational safety and uninterrupted functioning of the university.
The rector outlined a clear direction for the university's activities for 2026: accreditation of educational and professional programs, launch of training for third (educational and scientific) level higher education applicants in the specialty C4 «Psychology», creation of a veteran hub, specialized educational facilities, the information platform «Education – OSUIA», implementation of a pilot project to study the «Active Shooter» training course with police officers from the educational security service, preparation of a draft collective agreement for OSUIA for 2027-2031.
The conference delegates approved the report and agreed to implement the tasks outlined, which will further strengthen the position of OSUIA as a leading departmental institution of higher education.
