OSUIA team won the regional kettlebell lifting competition
Аs part of «Dynamiada-2026», the Odesa Regional Branch of the Ukrainian Physical Culture and Sports Society «Dynamo» held a kettlebell lifting championship for physical education teams.
A total of 35 athletes from 8 sports teams participated in the competition.
The team from Odesa State University of Internal Affairs took first place in the team competition, securing four first-place finishes and one second-place finish in the individual competition.
Specifically, in the following weight classes:
up to 63 kg – 1st place went to Denys Rakul, a cadet at the Faculty of Training Specialists for Preventive Operations Units at the National Police of Ukraine;
up to 68 kg – 1st place went to Artem Salo, a cadet at the Faculty of Training Specialists for Pre-trial Investigation Bodies at the National Police University;
up to 78 kg – 1st place went to Nikita Mykhalyk, a cadet at the Faculty of Training for Pre-trial Investigation Officers of the National Police of Ukraine;
up to 85 kg – 1st place went to Maksym Kyiko, a cadet at the Educational and Research Institute for Training Specialists for the Criminal Police Units of the National Police of Ukraine;
over 95 kg – 2nd place went to Oleksii Hatailo, a cadet at the Faculty of Training for Pre-trial Investigation Officers of the National Police of Ukraine.
