Information session on communication with veterans

An information session for higher education applicants was held at Odesa State University of Internal Affairs on the topic: «Communication with veterans» with the participation of representatives of the project «Mobile rehabilitation teams» of the Ukrainian Red Cross.

The event was attended by Serhii Kozachenko, assistant to the rector of OSUIA for work with veterans, a veteran of the russian-Ukrainian war, who took an active part in the discussion and shared his own experience.

During the session, participants considered the main tasks of effective communication, the importance of mutual respect and empathy, as well as the structure of effective communication and counseling. Particular attention was paid to the analysis of rules that help to move from conflict situations to mutual understanding.

The event became a practical platform for the formation of students' constructive dialogue skills with veterans and contributed to raising the level of their communicative culture.
