Special Session with the Participation of Representatives of the Educational Security Service

On January 29, an optional class entitled “Functioning of the Educational Security Service within the System of Preventive Activities of the National Police of Ukraine” was held for third-year students of the Faculty for Training Specialists for Preventive Activity Units of the National Police of Ukraine at the Odesa State University of Internal Affairs.

Representatives of operational police units were invited to take part in the class, including Police Lieutenant Colonel Olena Kozachenko, Senior Inspector of the Department for Organizing the Educational Security Service of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Odesa Region, and Police Lieutenant Maryna Kovalenko, Inspector of the “Educational Security Service” Department of Odesa District Police Department No. 2 of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Odesa Region.

During the class, the participants were introduced to the specific features of the functioning of the Educational Security Service, its role within the system of preventive activities of the National Police of Ukraine, as well as practical aspects of preventing juvenile delinquency, counteracting bullying, and response algorithms for crisis situations in educational institutions.
