On September 17, an optional class for higher education students on the topic of «Crime among minors» was held at OSUIA.

The event was attended by Jan Danco (Slovakia), advisor-trainer on police-community relations at the EUAM, who shared European experience of working with adolescents prone to delinquency.

During the session, participants discussed topical issues related to crime prevention among young people, the specifics of working with juvenile offenders, and modern methods of combating this phenomenon.

Particular attention was paid to interagency cooperation and partnership between the police and the community in creating a safe environment for children and adolescents.

Cadets had the opportunity not only to familiarize themselves with new terminology, but also to discuss practical cases, share their own views on the problem, and propose ways to solve it.
