«The bell of memory» is a tribute to the Heroes who gave their lives for Ukraine

On July 31, Serhii Kozachenko, assistant to the Rector of OSUIA for work with veterans, veteran of the russian-Ukrainian war, and Iryna Honcharuk, a specialist in the department of social and humanitarian work, took part in the traditional monthly memorial event «The bell of memory», which takes place on the last day of the month in the square «Slava and Volya» near the memorial «Fighters for Ukraine».

This day is special. The day when representatives of Veterans HUB Odesa, NGO «Sertsia Materiv Odeshchyny», NGO «Family of Angels of Light» and the family of fallen Defenders gathered together to remember by name everyone who died during July during the entire russian-Ukrainian war.

The names sounded in silence to the blows of a symbolic bell as evidence of the unlimited price that Ukraine pays for its freedom. Every name is a human destiny, it is a story about courage, sacrifice, love for the Motherland.

And on this day, representatives of OSUIA, joining the action, bowed their heads in grief, emphasizing their respect for the Heroes with a steadfast faith in Victory.
