The Bell of Remembrance
The Bell of Remembrance
The «Bell of Remembrance» rang out once again at the «Fighters for Ukraine» memorial – a special symbol of our shared grief and boundless gratitude to those who stood up to defend our country.
On this day, when Ukraine celebrates Border Guard Day, the event began with a tribute to the fallen border guards from Odesa and the Odesa region, who were among the first to defend the national border and gave their lives for Ukraine’s independence.
Representatives from Odesa State University of Internal Affairs and veterans of the Russian-Ukrainian war joined in this commemorative event. Together with the community, to the sound of bells and the heartfelt prayers of chaplains, tribute was paid to every male and female defender whose names are forever etched in the history of our independence.
Eternal glory and fond remembrance to our defenders!
