Discussion Club on the topic «A Book That Comes Alive»
As part of English Language Week at Odesa State University of Internal Affairs, a discussion club was held on the topic «A Book That Comes Alive», organized in the modern interactive «living book» format.
Leading experts served as «living books», including:
Olha Radkevych, training and education expert with the European Union Advisory Mission;
Mariia Tykhonovska – international examiner for Cambridge University’s B2–C1 levels, director of the Cambridge Exam Preparation Center and the Cambridge and IELTS Pre-Test Center at AbcLand;
Members of the university community: Hanna Sobko, Volodymyr Dryshliuk, and Maryna Arapaki.
The event brought together university students and faculty members to discuss the development of English-language communication, academic mobility, and intercultural dialogue.
The «living book» format allowed participants to interact directly with the speakers, creating an environment conducive to open dialogue, the exchange of professional experiences, the sharing of practical advice, and the improvement of English communication skills.
