A Dialogue with Veterans
Аt the initiative of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Work of Odesa State University of Internal Affairs, an interactive meeting titled «Dialogue with Veterans» was organized for the university’s cadets.
The speakers at the event were veterans of the russian-Ukrainian war who now work at OSUIA. These are people who have fought in fierce battles to defend our independence and are now sharing their invaluable experience with future law enforcement officers.
During the meeting, the cadets had a unique opportunity to:
- hear firsthand real stories of courage, camaraderie, and the challenges on the front lines;
- learn how combat experience helps veterans in their current work at the university;
- ask the questions that most concern future officers.
The cadets learned about the combat experiences of veterans Oleksii Ishchuk, Serhii Kozachenko, Oleh Avtomieienko, Andrii Delihioz, and Oleksandr Diuzhykov, and spoke with them directly. They heard their personal stories, received valuable advice, and learned more about each of their journeys.
A particularly moving moment at the end of the event was the performance by Oleksandr Diuzhykov, who shared his own combat experiences and performed an original song.
