Knowledge Day at Odesa State University of Internal Affairs
Today, September 1, Odesa State University of Internal Affairs held an event to mark Knowledge Day, attended by cadets and first-year students of the Law, Law Enforcement, and Psychology programs.
At the beginning of the event, those present observed a minute of silence to honor the memory of all those who died in the war with the russian aggressor.
The rector of the university, Police Colonel Viacheslav DAVYDENKO, congratulated the first-year students on the holiday.
Representatives of the student government and first-year students also gave welcoming speeches, promising to diligently acquire knowledge and to bear the title of OSUIA cadet and student with dignity.
A traditional part of the celebrations was the presentation of symbolic grade books to first-year students, symbolizing the beginning of their educational journey at the university. The festive atmosphere was complemented by musical performances by university students.
The event demonstrated that despite the challenges of today, young people are united by a common goal - to obtain a quality education and become professional defenders of law and order and the Ukrainian people.
