Odesa State University of Internal Affairs celebrated Science Day.
Viacheslav Davydenko, the university’s rector, delivered a welcoming address. He emphasized the crucial role of science, which, in the face of today’s challenges, is one of the key factors in strengthening the state’s resilience and sovereignty, and also serves as the foundation for social development and national security.
During the event, the university’s top researchers and students were honored for their contributions to the advancement of science and education.
According to the results of the 2025 evaluation of the research activities of the university’s research and teaching staff:
• First place went to Viktor Konopelskyi, Doctor of Law and Professor;
• Second place went to Hanna Teteriatnyk, Doctor of Law, Professor, and Police Colonel;
• Third place went to Alina Denysova, Doctor of Law, Professor.
Among young researchers under the age of 35, the following rankings were determined:
• First place went to Nataliia Prodanets, Ph.D in Law and Associate Professor;
• Second place went Doctor of Philosophy Nataliia Zhuk;
• Third place went to Doctor of Philosophy Oleksandr Klymenko.
The university's academic and teaching staff have been recognized with certificates of commendation, letters of appreciation, and a cash bonus from the university's labor union.
