A delegation from OSUIA visited the Lithuanian Police Academy
From June 1 to 5, at the invitation of Romas Oželis, Acting Head of the Lithuanian Police Academy, as part of the Erasmus+ project «Development of Professional Skills of Cadets and Staff at the Lithuanian Police Academy», a delegation from Odesa State University of Internal Affairs, consisting of Hanna Teteriatnyk, Head of the Department of Criminal Procedure and Criminalistics and Police Colonel, and Nataliia Prodanets, Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Law Disciplines, visited the Lithuanian Police Academy.
During their working visit, the experts familiarized themselves with the organization of police training in Lithuania and the logistical infrastructure, and also visited operational units. In addition, they were able to attend an open house for prospective police officers.

Particular attention was paid to the development of forensic science, the use of digital tools in criminal investigations, the use of analytical platforms for processing forensic information, and the implementation of algorithmic models in law enforcement activities.

In turn, representatives from the university shared information about the unique aspects of police training in Ukraine, as well as the specifics of police training and operations under martial law.

At the conclusion of the training, the participants received certificates of completion and discussed ways to continue cooperation between educational institutions.
