Charity event at the «Biopharma Plasma» Plasma Donation Center

Olena Melnikova, an associate professor in the Department of Criminal Law at Odesa State University of Internal Affairs, organized a charity event for third-year students of the Institute of Law and Security at the «Biopharma Plasma» plasma donation center. The participants donated plasma, which will subsequently be used for medical purposes.

Before the procedure, each donor underwent a mandatory medical examination by a general practitioner. Provided that the test results were normal and the donor was in good health, the doctor would authorize plasmapheresis and determine the permissible donation volume.

The students made an important charitable contribution, as plasma is an essential component in the treatment of many diseases, including hemophilia, severe injuries, burns, and other conditions. Plasma donation is a real opportunity to help save lives.

This act demonstrates the high level of social responsibility among young people, as well as their willingness to support society and help those in need.
