Binary lesson on the topic «Tactics of investigative examination and inspection»

On February 3, Liudmyla Kryvda, PhD, Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Procedure and Criminalistics at Odesa State University of Internal Affairs, held a binary class for cadets of the Faculty of Training Specialists for Pre-trial Investigation Bodies of the National Police of Ukraine on the topic «Tactics of Investigative Inspection and Examination».

 

The guest lecturer was Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Hryhorii Kryvda, who served as the long-time head of the Odesa Regional Bureau of Forensic Medical Examination (1982–2021) and, from 2000 to 2021, as the head of the Department of Forensic Medicine at Odesa National Medical University. He is currently a professor in the Department of histology, cytology, embryology, and pathological morphology with a course in forensic medicine at Odesa National Medical University.

 

 

During the course, cadets deepened their knowledge of the tactics and organization of investigative examinations, the specifics of examining crime scenes, corpses, objects, and documents, as well as the procedural aspects of conducting examinations.

 

 

Special attention was paid to the algorithm of interaction between the investigator and the forensic medical expert and typical mistakes that may affect the admissibility of evidence.
