Binary Practical Session for the Course «Criminalistics»
On April 30, a joint practical session on the course «Criminalistics» was held at Odesa State University of Internal Affairs, focusing on the topic «Tactics of Investigative Experiments».
The session was led by Liudmyla Kryvda, Associate Professor in the Department of Criminal Procedure and Criminalistics and Ph.D., with the participation of Ihor Shavrov – a lawyer and managing partner at the law office «Shavrov, Galinsky and Partners», which is ranked among the best law firms in Ukraine by «Yuridicheska Praktika» and «Yuridicheska Gazeta», a solicitor in the United Kingdom, and an accredited specialist with Sport Resolutions (London Sports Arbitration).
During the class, cadets from the Faculty for Training Specialists for Pre-trial Investigation Bodies of the National Police of Ukraine studied the practical aspects of conducting an investigative experiment, its procedural features, as well as the requirements for documenting the results and ensuring the rights of participants in criminal proceedings.
The session had a strong practical focus and helped develop the professional competencies of future law enforcement officers.
