“Accessibility is When You Can See a Person Through Words”
On May 28, as part of the National Barrier-Free Week, a thematic event titled “Accessibility is When You Can See a Person Through Words” was held. The aim of the event was to promote a culture of respect, equality, and tolerant attitudes in society.
Representatives of the Odesa State University of Internal Affairs (OSUIA), including rector’s assistants and veterans of the Russian–Ukrainian war, joined the event:
Oleksii Ishchuk spoke about opportunities for obtaining a second degree, professional development, and educational programs for veterans and persons with disabilities.
Serhii Kozachenko emphasized the importance of supporting a barrier-free educational environment and creating equal opportunities for all participants in the educational process.
The event was also attended by Iryna Honcharuk, Head of the Career Guidance Unit of OSUIA, and Inna Karabiievska, Senior Specialist of the Social and Humanitarian Work Department.
