A graduate of the OSUIA Driving School received a driving licence

Bohdan Protasevych, a student of the of the Driving School for People with Disabilities of the Odessa State University of Internal Affairs, successfully passed a practical exam at the territorial service centre of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and received a category B driving licence.
 

 

"I need to change something in my life. Now I can get a job and go to the seaside," says Bogdan. He has dreamed for a long time of learning the profession of a driver and working in a taxi to be mobile and communicate more with people.

 

 

Bohdan has been in a wheelchair for 20 years and, thanks to the Ministry of Internal Affairs' flagship project, he was able to master the skills of driving a specialised manual car and get his long-awaited driving licence.

 

 

- I have a tractor driver's licence, so it was easier to learn memorizing my old skills. The professional pieces of advices of the instructors, who supported me throughout the training, also helped," Bohdan is sharing his impressions.
