Scientific and Practical Internet Conference «Role and place of law enforcement agencies in development democratic legal state»

On March 29, the university-wide scientific and practical online conference "Role and Place of Law Enforcement Agencies in Development Democratic Legal State" was held at the Odesa State University of Internal Affairs.

 

 

Congratulatory words were addressed to the conference by the participants:

 

- Rector of the Odesa State University of Internal Affairs, Doctor of Law, Associate Professor, Honored Education Worker of Ukraine, Police Colonel Dmytro SHVETS;

 

- Senior Adviser of the Consultative Mission of the European Union on criminal investigations Johanna BUSK (Sweden);

 

- Adviser/Trainer of the Consultative Mission of the European Union on issues of police interaction with the public Jan DANKO (Slovakia);

 

- Deputy Chief of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Odesa Region, Police Colonel Denis ZAKHARCHENKO.

 

 

The rector of the university wished fruitful work, sharp and constructive discussions. "I think that the participants of the conference will comprehensively discuss all aspects of the important issue of the role and place of law enforcement agencies in the development of a democratic state governed by the rule of law. In my deep conviction, we must speak in the system of departmental education of the Ministry of Internal Affairs about strengthening the quality of professional training and education, about the formation of those values that will enable the emergence of managers-leaders of a new type for our Victory and the further reconstruction and prosperity of Ukraine" - noted Dmytro SHVETS. 

 

A range of topical issues of legal regulation of social relations, the organization and maintenance of law and order by the subjects of legal relations were outlined at the conference together with the determination of priorities and perspectives:

 

 

– socio-legal and economic problems of state development;

 

– legal aspects of combating and preventing corruption offenses in Ukraine;

 

– current problems of legal psychology and professional pedagogy;
 

 

– strengthening the role of national-patriotic education of the youth, taking into account the nowadays challenges;

 

- urgent problems of administrative law and administrative process, administrative activity of the National Police of Ukraine;

 

– topical issues of forensic science and criminology, criminal and criminal executive  law;

 

 

– peculiarities of criminal proceedings and investigative activities;

 

- taking into account the specifics of military service training of police officers and military personnel to perform their tasks under martial law.

 

 

We hope that the scientific achievements highlighted during the conference will serve not only to explain the latest achievements in the field of legal science, but will also become the basis for enriching all branches of law with new scientific ideas for the development of national legislation and the formation of a unified law enforcement practice.
