Clergymen of the Odesa Diocese of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine visited the OSUIA with Christmas greetings and carols

The staff of the Odesa State University of Internal Affairs was congratulated by the Bishop of Odesa and the Baltic Afanasii and the clergy of the Odesa diocese of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine with the New Year and Christmas holidays. Bishop Afanasii of Odesa and the Baltic wished everyone God’s blessing, success, inspiration in work and peace on our land.

– “Christmas is a holiday that gives us hope, faith and love, that’s why we hope for Victory, we believe in Victory, we know that we will win, and then the holiday of Christmas will be full of another meaning, bigger, better, good.  So may the newborn child Jesus Christ give us all strength, effort, patience, and love.  It is easy for everyone who studies here to accept science, and most importantly, let there be Victory for all of us.  Christ was born!  Let’s praise him!  Glory to Ukraine!  Glory to the heroes!” – noted the Bishop.

The greetings of the  Orthodox Church of Ukraine clergy were accompanied by the performance of traditional Ukrainian folk carols.

Police Colonel Serhii Bratel, Interim Rector of the University, thanked for the Christmas carol, sincere congratulations and support.
