A personal assignment of OSUIA graduates of 2022 took place

Today, January 27, the personal assignment of graduates of Odessa State University of Internal Affairs in 2022 took place. The commission on personal distribution was headed by the chief of National Police of Ukraine in Odessa region the third rank general of police Mykola Semenyshyn.

At the beginning of the event, the cadets, master students and postgraduates were addressed by the rector of the university Serhiy Kuznichenko, who congratulated them on the fact that after graduating from Odessa State University of Internal Affairs they will all be employed in territorial units of the National Police. “I wish everyone success in their work, constantly improve their professional level and skills, be committed to the Oath and the service to Ukrainian people,” – added the rector of the university.

In his turn, Mykola Semenyshyn, Chief of National Police of Ukraine in Odesa Region, focused on the main priority areas of the National Police of Ukraine for 2022, including: digitalization of operational and service activities, community policing, protection of citizens’ rights, crime prevention, staff and logistics issues.

The head of the GUNP also pointed out that it is very important to understand which hybrid threats exist for our country during the period of Russian aggression, in particular, related to information, cyberattacks, crucial infrastructure, crime spread, inciting civil society to disobedience and proliferation, corruption.

“I am very glad that you are supplementing staff for our teams, armed with the knowledge and values of the National Police. Achieve your goals and dreams, be responsible, faithful and loyal, “Mykola Semenyshyn concluded.

Future officers were offered positions in accordance with the received specialization.

The vast majority of young professionals will return for further service to the structural units from which they were sent to study at the university.

The event was held taking into account the established anti-epidemic requirements and restrictions due to quarantine.
