A series of training sessions on «Understanding the Principles of the European Union» and «Media Literacy» was held at OSUIA
On September 16, a series of training sessions on «Understanding the Principles of the European Union» and «Media Literacy» was held at OSUIA for cadets of the higher education institution.
The event was organized by the International Cooperation Department and the Police Administration Department.
The training was conducted by representatives of the European youth organization Understanding Europe Ukraine – Inna Svynarchuk and Roksolana Sandiuk, who specialize in informal education for young people and European integration processes.
Participants had the opportunity to:
- learn about the historical stages of the EU's formation;
- consider its role in global political and legal processes;
- simulate the activities of European institutions in the form of practical tasks;
- understand the importance of active civic participation for a democratic society.
Such measures contribute to the formation of an understanding of European values, which is necessary in the training of highly qualified specialists to work in the modern legal environment.
