The Occupational Safety of Law Enforcement Officers and Its Impact on HIV-Related Services for People Who Use Drugs

The event was attended by law enforcement officers, faculty and staff, university students, and patrol officers.

The event was led by Serhii Rudyi, Program Officer at the Program Office of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) in Ukraine, and co-led by Tetiana Matiushkova, Head of the International Cooperation Department at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.

During the training, participants discussed current issues related to the occupational safety of law enforcement officers, respect for human rights, prevention of HIV and other infectious diseases, response to drug overdoses, and the development of interagency cooperation in the field of public health.
