Presentation of the results of the study «Improving career paths and adapting Ukrainian veterans to civilian employment»
The results of the study «Improving career paths and adapting Ukrainian veterans to civilian employment» were presented in Kyiv.
The aim of the study is to support defenders in their return to civilian life through the development of effective career paths, improved career guidance services, short-term training, recognition of qualifications, and employment.
Representatives of OSUIA, veterans of the russian-Ukrainian war Oleh Avtomieienko and Andrii Delihioz, also joined the event.
The following speakers addressed the participants with welcoming remarks:
Nataliia Kalmykova, Minister for Veterans Affairs of Ukraine;
Dmytro Oliinyk, Chairman of the Federation of Employers of Ukraine;
Serhii Byzov, Chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions of Ukraine.
Participants discussed how to effectively involve veterans in economic development and adapt public policy instruments to their needs.
The event was not only a presentation of the research results, but also a step towards forming a systematic vision for further work.
