Practical measures for schoolchildren to master first aid skills

OSUIA continues to hold practical training sessions for students on how to provide first aid. The sessions are organized by the social and humanitarian work department in conjunction with the tactical, special, and physical training department.

This educational event was interesting because schoolchildren, together with first-year students from the Odesa State University of Internal Affairs, had the opportunity to try their hand at being lifesavers.

Under the guidance of teachers and students, participants learned how to respond correctly in emergency situations, provide assistance to victims, check consciousness and breathing, apply bandages, and perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation.

Such events promote the development of a responsible attitude among young people towards safety, and also strengthen cooperation between the university and educational institutions in the city.
