An introductory seminar featuring the deputy commander of the Special Police Battalion of the Main Department of the National Police in the Odesa Region
On March 13, an introductory seminar was held at OSUIA for third-year cadets of the Faculty of Training for Pre-trial Investigation Units of the National Police of Ukraine.
The event was led by Police Colonel Viacheslav Lipatov, deputy commander of the Special Purpose Police Battalion of the Main Department of the National Police in the Odesa Region.
During the meeting, the cadets were briefed on the history of the Special Purpose Police Battalion and its main areas of activity. The speaker provided a detailed overview of the unit’s structure. Particular attention was paid to the battalion’s responsibilities in the areas of public safety and law enforcement.
During the seminar, Viacheslav Lipatov briefed the cadets on the specifics of professional training for police units. In particular, they discussed a training system based on Scandinavian methods and designed to develop physical endurance, improve tactical skills, and foster effective teamwork.
At the end of the event, the speaker outlined the requirements for candidates wishing to serve in the special police battalion and answered questions from the cadets.
