Information session on mine risk education and prevention of risks associated with explosive objects
On February 24, OSUIA held an information session on mine hazards and risk prevention related to explosive objects. First-year cadets from the Educational and Scientific Institute for Training Specialists for Criminal Police Units of the National Police of Ukraine participated in the event.
The meeting was conducted by a representative of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society, mine risk education instructor Olena Reutseva.
During the session, key aspects of mine danger were revealed: the characteristics of different types of mines, the principles of their mechanisms, and the distinctive features of explosive remnants of war. The speaker drew attention to potential locations for dangerous objects and the possible consequences of their detonation for human life and health.
Special emphasis is placed on algorithms for safe behavior in case of detection of suspicious objects and the importance of observing personal safety rules while performing professional duties.
