Discussion platform on «The impact of russian military aggression on gender-based violence in Ukraine»

On October 3, Odesa State University of Internal Affairs hosted a discussion platform on the topic: «The impact of russian military aggression on gender-based violence in Ukraine».

The event was organized by the Scientific society of higher education students and young scientists, the Department of Civil Law Disciplines of the Odesa State University of Internal Affairs, in cooperation with Odesa Polytechnic National University and the Department of Labor and Social Policy of the Odesa City Council.

 

 

Volodymyr Dryshliuk, Director of the Institute of Law and Security at the Odesa State University of Internal Affairs, and Alla Chechelnytska, Deputy Director of the Department of Labor and Social Policy at the Odesa City Council, addressed the participants with welcoming remarks.

 

During the discussion, the importance of combining the efforts of state institutions, local authorities, educational institutions, and the public sector to form a comprehensive system for combating gender-based violence, especially in wartime, was emphasized.
