Vice-rector of OSUIA had a language internship in Republic of Ghana

From January 13 to 26, Serhii Kuznichenko, Vice-rector of Odessa State University of Internal Affairs within the framework of the Erasmus + Effort Scheme for Academic Mobility in Africa had language internship at the Faculty of Law of Central University of  Republic of Ghana.

viber-image3During his educational trip, the Vice-Rector of Odessa State University of Internal Affairs was able to familiarize with the peculiarities of the educational process and material and technical base of Central University of Republic of Ghana, to visit the Supreme Court of Republic of Ghana and the memorial to the martyrs of rule of law, and to visit the schools of Republic of Ghana, where participants of language training, Representatives of the faculty of higher education institutions in Brazil, Mexico, Columbia, Germany, Czech Republic, Spain, Japan, Peru, Malta, South Korea and China, spoke about their countries.

It should be noted that Central University of Republic of Ghana has four schools and two faculties. The Faculty of Law prepares specialists in the “Bachelor”, “Master”, “PhD” in law, an interdisciplinary academic fields, which is devoted to the study and analysis of rules and institutions created by the society to ensure law and order. After graduation, graduates are trained to participate in the Professional Attorney Certification Program at the Ghana School of Law. The faculty trains professionals with legal education in various fields such as health care, banking and finance, insurance, tax administration, real estate, consulting firms, general management, international business and the public sector.

viber-image4One of the peculiarities of the educational process at Central University is that there is an anonymous survey of students about the level of teaching subjects every week. Also, each student has the opportunity to study on an individual schedule and independently take exams on the subjects that he passed in a week.

As a result of the trip, Serhii Kuznichenko has received a certificate of successful internship, signed by the Dean of the Faculty of Law of the Central University.

At the same time, agreements were reached to concentrate efforts on improving scientific contacts between educational institutions of foreign countries for the mutual exchange of experience in education and further cooperation.
