The Oath of the first-year cadets of Odesa State University of Internal Affairs
On October 11, at Odesa State University of Internal Affairs was a solemn event: 338 first-year cadets have sworn for loyalty to the Ukrainian people. They replenished the ranks of law enforcement officers and became full members of OSUIA’s family, proudly wearing police uniform. The event took place in one of picturesque corners of Odesa – near the Duke de Richelieu monument, located on the Primorskii Boulevard.
Viacheslav Abroskin, Rector of Odesa State University of Internal Affairs, welcomed cadets and guests of the event.
The cadets spoke the Oath and received special tokens indicating of individual numbers. Then they sang the National Anthem of Ukraine and honored the bright memory of military, law enforcement and volunteers who gave their lives for the independence and territorial integrity of Ukraine.
Next was the spectacular and bright performance of the first-year cadets with the vocal-choreographic composition “Ukraine is Europe”.
At the end, cadets marched, demonstrating excellent training skills.
