Henceforth, OSUIA has international Master’s programs with the opportunity to receive a “double diploma”

Between Odessa State University of Internal Affairs and University of Applied Sciences: Technology, Business and Design (Wismar, Germany) an agreement on interconnected international educational Master’s programs of double diploma was concluded.

555-1-sajtThe student will have the opportunity to receive two diplomas: the diploma of OSUIA and University of Applied Sciences: Technology, Business and Design (Wismar) of the Master’s Degree in the field of training “Law”.

The University of Wismar cooperates with academic institutions and has many business partners in the region and around the world. And it opens up opportunities for students to develop and implement interesting projects, apply their knowledge in practice and seek employment successfully.

1200px-hochschule_wismar_logo-svg_According to the terms of the Agreement, students of OSUIA are credited initially to OSUIA for the Master’s program “Legal Support of Economic Activity” and during the exchange at University of Wismar for the Master’s program “German and International Economic Law”. The curriculum of the Department of Legal Studies of Ukraine “Legal Support of Economic Activities” lasts a total of 4 terms. Students of OSUIA, who are enrolled this Master’s program, spend the first two terms at their University, which studies in these semesters is conducted in English and Ukrainian. During the third semester, students undergo training within the framework of an agreed joint curriculum at University of Wismar under the program “German and International Economic Law”, the training of which is conducted in Russian and English, if desired also in German. In the fourth semester, students of OSUIA return and continue their studies at their university in accordance with the General Curriculum of OSUIA and University of Wismar using distance technologies.

The main condition for admission to the program with the possible departure to study at University of Wismar is the availability of a Bachelor’s degree in the area of “Jurisprudence” recognized in Ukraine and comparable to the German Bachelor’s degree, provided that the program lasted at least 4 years, as well as fluently speaking English at B2 level. Studying within this program at University of Applied Sciences is free. In addition, students can practice at least 8 weeks in Germany at a company of their choice after completing their studies, and University of  Wismar, in turn, helps students find places to practice.

Participation in similar international educational programs allows to obtain high-quality education in European University and provide employment opportunities both in Ukraine and in any EU country.
